BIO 4610 - Senior Biology Seminar3 cr Course content for this course will include discussion of how to perform a thorough scientific literature search, effective methods for writing the introduction, methods, results and conclusion sections of a manuscript and how to create an effective poster or oral presentation. Experimental design and proper statistical analysis will also be reviewed. At the end of the course, a first draft of the introduction, methods and reference sections of the capstone research paper will be complete and students will give a practice presentation of their project as a poster or oral presentation. Senior Biology majors. Prerequisite: Instructor permission required. Fall
