CHE 3031 - Physical Chemistry I4 cr A study of the fundamental concepts and principles of thermodynamics, gas laws, and solutions. Topics include the laws of thermodynamics, prediction of the direction and extent of chemical reaction, equilibrium, phases of matter, solutions, and electrochemistry. Laboratory focuses on experiments that lead to the development of thermodynamics and important chemical properties.
