NUR 3060 - Nursing Care of Adults8 cr The focus is the study of individuals with acute and chronic health problems that occur when the ability to meet one or more basic needs is severely compromised. Students will apply the nursing process in health care promotion, health restoration, and health maintenance with a focus on patient outcomes. Students explore the role of clinical microsystems in assuring safe, quality healthcare. Learning experiences include the classroom, simulated learning environment, and patient care settings. Prerequisite: NUR 2035 , NUR 2050 and NUR 2510 with minimum grades of B-. Co-requisite: NUR 3040 Fall
