ECO 3220 - International Trade and Development3 cr This course offers an overview of theory, recent data, and controversies surrounding the interlinked topics of international trade and economic development in an increasingly integrated world economy. We will examine the philosophical commitments underpinning the debates, followed by a further examination of economic concepts, and a look at the facts of the global economy, with a primary focus on the developing world.
