MAT 4040 - Complex Analysis3 cr This course is an introduction to complex analysis at the undergraduate level. Complex analysis is the theory of differentiation and integration of functions with complex-valued arguments. Complex analysis has many applications to engineering, physics and applied mathematics. Topics include properties of complex numbers, analytic functions, mapping, contour integrals, the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra, and residue theory. Prerequisite: MAT 4110 Periodically
