MUS 1260 - Applied Music - Bassoon

The purpose of Applied Music is to prepare students for either a performance career, mastery of an instrument in preparation for teaching, or advanced graduate study in music. In addition to the practice and preparation required for weekly lessons, students are required to attend recitals and concerts sponsored by or as designated by the department. Students are required to perform on recitals, prepare juried examinations and proficiency examinations. Restricted to Music, Music Education, or Theater majors, and Music minors. May be repeated for credit. Course may NOT be added or dropped after the second week of classes.

This course fulfills the Aesthetic Understanding frame of reference.
Fee $350 per credit.
