MUS 1340 - Applied Music - Trombone1 cr The purpose of Applied Music is to prepare students for either a performance career, mastery of an instrument in preparation for teaching, or advanced graduate study in music. In addition to the practice and preparation required for weekly lessons, students are required to attend recitals and concerts sponsored by or as designated by the department. Students are required to perform on recitals, prepare juried examinations and proficiency examinations. Reserved for music majors and minors only. NOTE: See music department for enrollment form and consent. May be repeated for credit. Course may NOT be added or dropped after the second week of classes. There is a .5 credit version of this course available to non-majors, see Music Department for enrollment form. This course meets the Aesthetic Understanding frame of reference. Fee $350 Every semester
