MUS 3300 - Applied Performance

The purpose of Applied Performance is to prepare music majors for a performance career or advanced graduate study in music. Students will engage in 75 minutes of private instruction weekly to include sessions on literature, diction, and performance practice as applicable to each instrument. In addition, students are required to attend recitals and concerts sponsored by the department; and are required to perform in recitals, and prepare juried examinations and proficiency examinations as detailed in the department handbook. Course may be repeated for credit. Course may not be added or dropped after the second week of class.
