THA 3135 - International Cinema3 cr

An examination of films produced outside of the United States. Primary focus will be on European, Australian, Asian, Latin American and African cinema. Attention will be paid to historical and contemporary works from both mainstream and independent directors. One four-hour period weekly.
Prerequisite: THA 2050 or consent of instructor.
Screening fee: $15.
