Ethics is one of the most practical, world-engaging, and important areas of Philosophy. The Ethics Minor connects the theoretical, evaluative apparatus of ethical theory to medical, business, environmental, and other spheres of action in the world. As such, the Minor is relevant to students in any major (including Business, Ecological Studies, Nursing, Philosophy, Political Science, and beyond).

PHI 1020 - Critical Thinking 3 cr
PHI 1030 - Introduction to Logic 3 cr

And complete 4 of these courses (12 cr):

COM 3010 - Media Ethics 3 cr
PHI 2060 - Business Ethics 3 cr
PHI 2120 - Social and Political Philosophy 3 cr
PHI 3020 - Medical Ethics 3 cr
PHI 3160 - Environmental Ethics 3 cr
or complete appropriate substitutions such as a releveant internship in Philosophy, or a Special Topics course in Ethical Theory or an area of Applied Ethics.
