Students who earn a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater will be able to:
1. Discuss and analyze productions in terms of thematic concerns, literary qualities, and artistic approaches.
2. Demonstrate a degree of competency in dance, theater, and a musical instrument or voice through public performance.
3. Incorporate input and ideas generated through the collaborative process of production into their own creative work.
4. Present their work for review in a professional manner.
All students majoring in music must complete the courses listed below, each with a grade of "C" or better.
They must also demonstrate proof of keyboard skills by passing a piano proficiency test administered by the Music Department.
