Wildlife and Forest Conservation Minor

A minor in Wildlife and Forest Conservation (WFC) provides a foundation in conservation and management of wildlife, biodiversity, and forests. Students leave with an increased understanding of the challenges and approaches to conserving natural systems. They will be better prepared for careers in wildlife and fisheries science, as well as in park and habitat management, among other conservation career paths.

Complete the following courses (20 cr):

BIO 1121 - Biology I 4 cr
BIO 1122 - Biology II 4 cr
WFC 1010 - Natural Resource Management 3 cr
BIO 2530 - Conservation Biology & Biogeography 3 cr
BIO 2540 - Dendrology & Silviculture 3 cr
WFC 3010 - Wildlife Management 3 cr

And complete a minimum of 1 elective from this list (3-4 cr):

SCI 2010 - Environmental Law & Policy 3 cr
WFC 2010 - Conservation Field Experience 4 cr
