POS 3221 - Political Philosophy I3 cr What is justice? the good life? and how can one live a good life? These are among the many questions raised by this course which is taught in a seminar format that encourages student participation, leadership and discussion. Plato's Republic is the main text that is read as a way of contrasting classical and modern political philosophies and seeing with fresh eyes the present human condition and the many questions and problems it poses.
