MUS 3620 - Wind Symphony0-1 cr The Castleton University Wind Symphony is one of the major performing ensembles on campus. The Wind Symphony performs works in the traditional wind band repertoire as well as contemporary works of various styles. The ensemble is open to all instrumentalists at the university and select community members with a placement hearing required at the beginning of the fall semester. The Wind Symphony performs at fall commencement, fall and spring concerts, and at local schools. May be repeated for credit. The one-credit version of this course fulfills the Aesthetic Understanding frame of reference. Prerequisite: MUS 2620 Fee $50 Every semester
